Housed in the original Falmouth Art School building on Arwenack Avenue, we are renewing a space to produce and display creative works.
In February 2026 Will Jackson and Tracy Rasburn acquired the former Art School building. With its large windows and North facing aspect the building is the perfect facility for creation and display. The ground floor will include a well equipped workshop space with modern and traditional tools, from lathes to lasers, analogue and digital we embrace it all.
The space and tools to realise the extraordinary
History
Built in 1901 the building has remained mostly unchanged for over 125 years. Prof. Mike Jenks, chairman of the Falmouth Civic Society has written a fascinating history of the site and the evolution of this area of Falmouth. Read the Buildings At Risk Blog Post Here ->
Renovation
At the time of purchase in February 2026 the building had been unoccupied for a year. The Cornish weather which had been even wetter than usual over the winter of 25/26 was taking a toll. The leaking roof, rotten windows and crumbling render all need replacement. Follow our blog posts to see the work progress,
The Future
We plan to complete the building renovation by the end of 2026. Move in will be begin in January 2027 and we hope to open the gallery space on the ground floor for our first show for Easter 2027. There will be an eclectic mix of contemporary arts, workshops and general strangeness.
